Audition Dates:

Dance:  Tuesday  September 22     3:00-6:00 p.m.

*All Students will sign up for ONE 30 minute dance audition*

Singing/Acting: Tuesday  September 22        6:30-8:00 p.m.
                            Wednesday  September 23  6:00-8:30 p.m.
                            Friday  September 25           3:00-5:00 p.m.

*Students need to sign up for ONE 20 minute acting/singing audition*

* Sign-ups for everything will be posted outside the chorus room on the HAIRSPRAY board on September 14.*

Vocal Audition Information for Girls:

All girls auditioning must prepare 32 measures of the song "I can hear the Bells".  You will start right on measure 8 with the words "all because he" then continue to the word "bells" on measure 42.

Vocal Audition Information for Guys:

All guys auditioning must prepare 32 measures of the song "It Takes Two".  You will start at measure 6 with a brief introduction and stop at the end of measure 27.

It is highly recommended that you memorize your audition song.

Acting Audition Information for Guys and Gals:

Prepare one scene from the acting audition packet.  If you would like to be considered for a specific role, it is recommended that you choose a scene with that character.  If you have no preferences, then choose any scene that you are comfortable preparing.  Feel free to prepare scenes with specific friends that are also auditioning.  You will just want to be sure you all sign up to be in the same audition group.  

You do not have to memorize your scene, but it does impress the production team if you can!
